  Pakistan 2005: Peak fees and snow...


News are coming from different sectors that government of Pakistan will continue 50% discount of all peak for year 2005 and NO peak fee for peaks below 6500m. Yet we have to wait for an official notification from Government of Pakistan to confirm this news. Asghar Ali Porik JASMINE TOURS
This year mountain of north Pakistan got heavy snow, Gilgit and other town areas got snow after 20 years. Still the snowing weather is continue.

Peak Royalty
Following are royalty rates for scaling peaks of various height in Pakistan:
S No. Height of Peaks Royalty in US$ For each additional member exceeding 7 per team an additional fee at the following rate will be charged.
1 K-2 (8611 M) 12,000 $ 3,000
2 8001-8500 (M) 9,500 $ 3,000
3 7501-8000 (M) 4,000 $ 1,000
4 7001-7500 (M) 2,500 $ 500
5 6000-7000 (M) 1,500 $ 300
