More successful summits on Gasherbrum 2! on International Gasherbrum I & GII Expedition 2006

Dear EverestNews.com,

It is with great pride and pleasure that I can announce four more successful summits on Gasherbrum 2! of our JT International Gasherbrum I & GII Expedition 2006.

Mr Court Heagens and Mr Frits Vrijlandt summited on Saturday July 22 at around 12.30 local time, and Mr Achim Mietz from Germany and Mr Maku Laszlo from Hungary summited also on Saturday 22 July, some hours later. They all spent the night after their summit bid in Camp 4, and have descended as far as Camp 1. They are all in good health and very happy!Earlier 2 Argentinean Dario Bracali and Juan Pablo Terrado summited the G2 on its 50th Anniversary day.

JT International Gasherbrum I and GII Expedition 2006 first team departed from Islamabad on 14 June, 2006 with six members. Six out of Six got success = 100% success rate!

3 Polish and 2 Georgian and 2 Bulgarian (Bulgarian Mr. Nikolay Mihaylov Petkov and Mr. Doychin Ventsislavov made the first season summit of 2006 on Nanga Parbatearlier)  will join the team later and their result is awaited on Gasherbrum.
