
Stefano Zavka, the Italian climber is missing on K2. Stefano
Zavka is part of the Mountain Freedom expedition.
The weather as Hanif predicted is now very very bad up
high.... "Not Advisable for any activity during Next 2 to 3 days, as Very
Strong Winds at upper level(+20,000 ft)"
Earlier: A Sherpa reported from the Korean team has fell and is
reported dead on K2. The name of the climber has not been released. Our
prayers go out the many Sherpa families tonight.
On a more positive note, Libor Uher was the Czech climber
who summited via the Cesen.

High Winds approaching, Be Careful on Sat/Sun/Mon.
The current window is likely to CLOSE on Saturday. High
Winds expected to approach northern parts of Pakistan, and all main Peaks will
remain in the grip of high winds during next 5 to 6 days. Climbers are advised
to remain careful on Sat/Sun/Mon. HANIF.
