K2, NP, GBI/II and Broad Peaks: Be Careful on
Saturday/Sunday
No significant stormy weather is
expected in next 2 days (Thu/Fri) except few local build-ups at times. But high
stormy winds likely to grip on Saturday making weather very bad due to snow/poor
visibility, same on Sunday. Be careful on Saturday/Sunday, then weather expected
to improve from Monday giving a 3 or 4 days window.
Average Temps at 20,000 ft = -17 to
-19°C.
Average Temps at 25,000 ft = -21 to
-23°C.
(Note: Temp Variation b/w max/min is
4/5°C).
Average Wind Speed at 20,000-25,000
ft on Thu/Fri = 40/50 Knots, Direction = NW/W.
Average Wind Speed at 20,000-25,000
ft on Sat/Sun = 50/70 Knots, Direction = W/SW.

Weather for K2, NP, GBI/II and
Broad Peaks
ON & OFF light snow continue,
Be Careful on weekend.
This ON & OFF light snow at
times, with same winds, will continue during next few days, but no heavy
stormy weather is expected during the period. Wednesday and Friday are
comparatively better, Thursday is not good.
Winds are expected to
increase from weekend, causing heavy snow/poor visibility. Be careful from
Saturday, the coming hard/bad weather may last for 4 to 5 days. Hanif.
