first ascent of Gasherbrum II : Great Pictures

Dear Everest News Readers....
We are glad to inform you that Mr. Jacok
Klaris - Jensen and Jakob Urth became the first Danish to made the first
successful ascent on Gasherbrum II on the 1st of August 2008 at 01:59 pm.
They were a team of five Danish climbers with
permit for both Gasherbrum I and II. While
appearing on debriefing session Mr. Jan Elleby the leader of the expedition
was awarded certificate their submitter. Mr. Jacok Klaris - Jensen and Jokob
Urth left earlier to their home before the debriefing session.
The expedition was organized by Jasmine Tours

A cold
weather, high altitude double boot for extreme conditions The Olympus
Mons is the perfect choice for 8000-meter peaks. This super lightweight
double boot has a PE thermal insulating inner boot that is coupled with
a thermo-reflective outer boot with an integrated gaiter. We used a
super insulating lightweight PE outsole to keep the weight down and the
TPU midsole is excellent for crampon compatibility and stability on
