Petrov and Valkov will walk to summit tomorrow (Sunday, July 19) if the

Earlier: This summer Bulgarian climbers Nikolay Petkov, Doychin Boyanov, Boyan
Petrov and Nikolay Valkov will attempt to ascent Gasherbrum I (8068m) and
Gasherbrum II (8035m) in Pakistan. The team is in the base camp. Foursome will
walk to camp 2 (6500m) in Monday if the weather conditions will be stabled.

Mount Everest (via West Ridge in 1984, by Chinese route from North in

Habeler get to the summit on a new route
(northwest route)(2nd. ascent). One day
later, they are followed by three Austrians
on the same route (3rd. ascent).
