First Mountaineering Expedition for summer
2009 arrived in Pakistan.
Asghar Ali Porik of Jasmine Tours welcome Mr.
Antoine Girard leader of Jasmine Tours Broad Peak Expedition 2009, Mr.
Giambiasi Ludovic and Ms. Revol Elisabeth The Expedition arrive who arrived
on 14 May, 2009 early in the morning. There are total 11 members in the team
including 4 South African (Douard le Roux, Ronald Alexander Manuel Harris,
Ronald Kevin Muhl, Michael John Patterson), 1 Polish Mr. Pawel Bartosz
Michalski and 3 Austrian members sharing the permit, the rest of the members
plan to leave for Skardu on 1 June, 2009.
Same day in the evening expedition has its
briefing session in Alpine Club of Pakistan. Briefing session was conducted
by Mr. Wg. Cdr (R) Javed Iqbal Secretary Alpine Club of Pakistan. The next
day on 15 early in the morning expedition is ready to leave for Skardu.
