Silvio Mondinelli: Annapurna 2005 Headed up!!

Update: This morning Gnaro and his 4 friends left BC at 6 o'clock, destination CII. On their way they catch more ropes (only 50 available) meters  necessary for reach the 7.000 meters. Even if the way was full of snow in 4 hours they reach CII where they will spend the night. Tomorrow morning if the weather is still good like today they will reach 7.100 meters where their intention is to spend the night and the next morning Sunday they will try their first summit bid. Silvio will go to Annapurna around the 20 of March together with 4 Italian friends (Mario Merelli, Christian Gobbi, Daniele Bernasconi, Mario Panzeri). They will try on the North Face. After he will probably go with "Al filo de lo imposible" team to Nanga Parbat.

Silvio Mondinelli, (1958), Mountain Guide, Alagna Valsesia, Italy reached the Summit of Everest without Oxygen on the 23rd May 2001. Since then he has added Summits of G1, G2 and Dhaulagiri.
