L'Échappée Belle Cho Oyu
Expedition 2005 from Montreal, Canada reached the summit of Cho Oyu September
26th. The team includes Jean-Pierre Danvoye, guide from L'Échappée Belle, Luc
Gélinas, Denis Trahan, Marco St-Pierre (climbed to camp 2), Tendi Sherpa and
Lhakpa Nuru Sherpa. They left camp 3 at 2h30 am and reached the summit at 8h10
am. The view on Everest was perfect, no wind, blue sky, a perfect climbing
day.
