war times and danger Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush Mountains, a one time sought out
un-scaled mountaineering Mecca, has been closed down to tourist, climbers, and
trekkers. “We want to open again the door of the Afghan Hindu Kush to
mountaineering,” exclaimed Carlo Pinelli of Mountain Wilderness.
