A rescue helicopter did find 4 Nepali porters. One porter was left behind to help find the others and 3 were bought back to Pokhara. Rescue operations are underway... The French expedition had planned to climb 6,120 meter Mt. Kanguru.

According to Reuters the "avalanche tore through the base camp of the 6,981-meter (22,903-feet) Kang Guru peak."
