On October 1,
at 9:39 a.m., Patricia Tacconi reached the summit of Cho Oyu. Patricia is the
first Venezuelan woman to summit Cho Oyu, and an 8.000 mountain. Patricia is
part of Venezuela 8.000, a foundation integrated also by Juan Carlos Godayol,
Alfredo Autiero, Luis Nevett and Andres Rosenschein. They all worked very hard
to make it possible, and we are very proud of all of them here in Venezuela.
Regards, Miguel Monaco.
