The AAC presents its first ever
spring bash featuring Corey Rich, adventure photographer extraordinaire.
Corey will present a fabulous media presentation of the photography in his
book My Favorite Place with special guest, Jeff Lowe. The event will take
place at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden, Colorado on May 11th,
2006 at 5pm. Corey will be discussing the book, highlighting some key
encounters with the athletes and telling stories about the shoots while
showing incredible images from the book.
California-based outdoor adventure photographer, Corey Rich has traveled the
world on assignment for many of the best clients in the industry. His
editorial clients include Sports Illustrated, The New York Times Magazine,
Outside, Men’s Journal, and National Geographic Adventure.
The first ever AAC Spring
Bash will also feature climbing clinics on our indoor wall, music, food, shoe
demos and beer. A great party for Colorado climbers.
The AAC is America’s leading
organization for climbers. The AAC represents climbers on access,
conservation and advocacy issues at home and on an international scale. The
offices in Golden Colorado are home to the AAC library, the most extensive
collection of mountaineering literature in the U.S. The American Alpine Club
is located in the American Mountaineering Center in Golden, Colorado. The
event will take place on May 11th from 5-10pm, including self-rescue clinics
