One-third owner and partner in the marketing communications firm Martino
Flynn, LLC.
Kevin has great passion for hiking and mountaineering. He is a two-time
Adirondack 46er (someone who has climbed the 46 peaks that are 4,000 feet or
higher) and has climbed and hiked throughout the Northeast.
On May 15, 2004, Kevin reached the summit of 29,035 foot Mount Everest. It was
his 53rd day on the mountain. It was his second attempt. He reached High Camp
in 2002 at 26,200 feet but didn’t feel well enough for a summit
attempt.
Kevin completed the “Seven Summits” on November 7, 2006 on Mt. Kosciuszco in
Australia.
He has produced three videos on McKinley, Kilimanjaro and Elbrus that have
been sold throughout the world. Has also shot video footage on Aconcagua,
Vinson, and Everest and expects to complete more videos in the near future.
Kevin has given presentations to dozens of groups about his mountaineering
adventures.
Currently, Kevin just finished writing a book with Rochester Democrat and
Chronicle Outdoor Writer Gary Fallesen entitled, “Mount
Everest: Confessions of an Amateur Peak Bagger.”
Married to first wife Maggie since 1990.
