The Rock Cave on Everest ©EverestNews.com |
This is an EverestNews.com editorial.
The shameful hype to get you to watch TV in the UK on the
death of David Sharp continues, of course they are not going to show pictures
on David as the CLIMBERS PASSED HIM ON THE WAY UP, or on the way
down. They are not even going to go into any detail on how over 40 climbers
passed David Sharp ON THE WAY TO THE SUMMIT THAT DAY. The latest series of
articles would have you believe that "TV channel bows to pressure not the
release the video...." Do they REALLY believe you all that stupid???? Do they
really want you to believe they would release video of David alive, as the
Turks described, as they walked by on the way to a summit of a mountain that
has now been summited 1000's of times? Ok, the public will never know...
Probably right.... Just Shameful. A man DIED here....
As far as the many who walked by David on the WAY UP, few
will speak... We don't expect that to change. There is not anything good to
say.
Dave Watson, who was the first western climber to summit in
2006, and was using Asian Trekking too, as David Sharp was, sums it up this way:
"They fuckin left him".
Judge for yourself...
