The first summits of Ama Dablam in Autumn 2008 were reported
on Friday, however with the good news came bad...
" Just off the sat phone with my guide Justin, who is at
Camp 2 on Ama Dablam. Our IMG group will summit tomorrow (hopefully!). The
first climbers summated AD today."
"Justin confirmed that a climber fell from above Camp 2 on
Ama Dablam today and died. He said that people at Camp 1 could see his body
