Bansko’ 2008 – Grand Prix for “Pustelniks in the mountains”

The Jury of the 8th International Mountain Film Festival in Bansko (Bulgaria) comprising: Mariana Evstatieva-Biolcheva (Bulgaria), Janusz Majer (Poland), Ivan Popyordanov (Bulgaria), Radoslav Spasov (Bulgaria), Doychin Boyanov (Bulgaria), Michael Pause (Germany) and Georgi Ikonomov (Bulgaria), viewed 45 films in the competition from 27 to 30 November 2008.

The Jury has unanimously decided to award the:

Grand Prix

Judge Special Award

Award for complete realization in extreme conditions

“Portrait of a Serial Jumper”, Germany, 2007/ 2008, Matthias Thoennissen, 10’.

Award of the Union of tourist business – Banskо,

“Sine Sole”, Switzerland, 2007, Gianni Padlina, 22’.

Award of the Bansko Municipality

“Miracle on Everest”, Australia, 2008, Jennifer Peedom, 52’.
