  Ukraine/Russian Trango Tower Expedition, 2011


Maryna Kopteva a famous climbers from Ukraine is leading a six members team for Trango Tower, She last year successfully climb Amin Brakk (Great Tower) in Nangama Valley. This year she is aiming to climb the Trango Tower with a new route. She is accompanied by three ladies namely Lasynska Gnna, Chibitok Galina, Kurockkina Evgeniya and two male climbers namely Veretenin Denis, Bashkirtcev Evgenii. Yesterday the team left from Skardu to Askole and  in three days they are plan to reach the base camp.
