K2 Expedition 2012:  Oxana Morneva Injured

Oxana Morneva the leader of Russian K2 Expedition 2012 was badly hit by rocks and broken her rope while she she was climbing from camp 1 on 3rd July, 2012. She fall down around 300 meters and dislocated her left knee. With the help of Sherpa, High Altitude porters and fallow climbers she was brought down to base camp in two days. She was lifting by helicopter on July 6th, 2012 and medically treated in Army Hospital in Skardu. The doctor refer her to Islamabad as stretcher case and since then she is waiting from AXA Assistance Ltd the insurance company from Germany to help her

A two members Polish K2 Expedition of Marcin Piotr, Nanga Parbat summitter and Adam Radoslaw Beilecki, who made the first ascent of GI in last winter join Ms. Oxana Marneva who is hoping to be the first Russian lady to summit K2 aid by Dachhamba Sherpa 5 time Everest summitter and Yuri from Russia, are the mountaineering we are organizing this summer for K2 also Simone La Terra from Italy is the solo climber we have this summer for K2.
