Dear EverestNews Readers,

This is Jay Reilly writing to from Lukla at 2800m! Our expedition to Ama Dablam is well underway now with us having flown with all of our cargo and equipment early this morning from Kathmandu.

The team roster is as follows.

All the members are doing well and are currently enjoying some tea at the Namaste Lodge, apart from Simon who is high in the Khumbu Valley and will join us in Ama Dablam Basecamp. Later today we will enjoy a leisurely 3 hour trek downhill to Phakding for our first night in the mighty Khumbu!
