Sunset on
Shishapangma from Base Camp |
Dispatch Four: Hello EverestNews.com. This is Arnold
again, the leader of the SummitClimb Shishapangma Expedition 2006. Yesterday
we arrived safely in ABC at 5,600 meters. We have been busy with making our
base camp tonight . There is some snow here in ABC and it looks like there is
a lot on the mountain. Tomorrow morning we will have our Puja ceremony, so
let's hope the mountain is more gentle for us after that.
After the ceremony we will make our first walk to the
deposit camp. The day after we will probably rest. So we are all fine, and
until the next dispatch, bye bye. -Arnold Coster from SummitClimb.com
